Thank you for your wonderful prayers. |
Did I think about God after this news? No! I freaked out! I freaked out because for 13 years I've fought with all my heart, mind, soul and body and welcomed any news that was afflicting to show that I could keep my head up, keep the faith and fight cancer! Tons of pain resulting from a teeny weeny cancer. Every joint, ligament, muscle and everything else in my body has enjoyed it's months and years in the spotlight of pain. Now it is oveerrrrr! I need to get back to my miniatures.
August Give Away is a lovely Dressed Mannequin |
God. Thank you very much.
Thank you too for your prayers. You know that Satan or better known as the 'Devil' will try to keep us very busy to make us do some crazy things. Such as thinking about closing a Blog that really makes me happy, or pouring my heart out to you to join my pity party. Or clouding my Spirit so I couldn't see God when the storms of life were raging last week. I'm so happy that I had the sense to come to my senses.
Someone cleaver even came up with this:
B U S Y stands for Being Under Satan's Yoke
Well, according to my favorite daughter and son, the mother and father of my favorite grandsons, I really need to go back and read my own Blog posts which are meant to be very encouraging and a great testimony of my faith in what God has done for me including life changing Miracles. They told me to start with my "About Me" page. I did. I couldn't believe it was me writing about how I started my Blog with my "Journey to come out of the closet and celebrate life after breast cancer." Somewhere along my journey I guess I got a little BUSY!
He replied, "Because you have so little faith, I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." Matthew 17:20 NIV Please click on the link and read the entire context of this Scripture. It may help refresh your memory too if you are getting a little busy.
One of my favorite Scriptures: I have hidden your word in my heart so that I may not sin against you. Psalm 119:11 Niv Somewhere along my journey when I was a little BUSY maybe Satan gave one of his little helpers an eraser because how could I ever forget this Scripture that has helped sustain me since my awful bout with cancer: They that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31. OK, so I felt a little faint. Forgive me. I guess that is why my favorite daughter and son gave me the shirt I have on in the picture that reads, "Forgiven." None of us are free from sin, but we must know why Jesus died on the cross to pay our sin debt in full. All we have to do is pray and not let the devil in to steal our joy.
Today's verse of the day on Bible Gateway's website gives this example of faith in action:
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1 NIV
Today after starting this post I received my doctor's report (my husband went and got it): Tests, including X-Rays are all within the normal range! Further testing will be scheduled. Thank you Lord God! Oh sure, I still have pain and I am ready and looking forward to what God has in store for me. No matter what. I still believe in Miracles.
August Give Away is early, but my heart is full and I need to give something away and I am not fishing for comments. I love comments but my fishing days are over.
Speaking of fishing; My six year old grandson went fishing for the first time. He hooked a foot long bass. Child against fish! He finally brought the fish in and landed it on the ground and when the fish started flapping about my grandson took off running like crazy. Although he knows God, I think he freaked out. But, when he had time to think about God and faith, the fishermen were able to coax him back to take a picture. What the heck. My grandson, a born vegeterian, probably insisted on sending the fish back to where it came from. Oh my goodness! A new lesson; Next time pain scares me into running like crazy I am going to send it back where it came from too. Hallelujah!
I want to thank all of you for joining and following my blog. Welcome to all new followers.

This little grandson with Grandma's sunglasses on insists on taking the easy ride and doesn't want to go down to the lake to fish. The only bear he wants to see is in his lap.

Good to hear you are feeling better from your illness, after struggling so hard. Wish you all the best. Happy for you.
Love your miniture dresses. They are all so beautiful.

I'm glad to hear that the X-rays went well. Keep fighting the cancer. My mum had cancer a few years ago, thankfully she is now cancer free. However she finds that she has aches and pains still, we think it is the side effects of her treatment. She doesn't look forward to her check ups but she is a fighter just like you. I really wish you all the best. Don't give up your blog, especially if it gives you so much happiness.
I'm glad you're feeling better Felma.
Hugs!
Dear Felma, this is from Sam,
It was lovely to see a photo of you. You are a beautiful lady created in your Father's image, and like your Father, you are extremely talented and creative. The dresses you make are absolutely gorgeous, and you just give them freely away. Awesome!
Praise God for always having His loving arms around us, even when the news is bad. We can all give Him happy praise for your good results.
I would love to be included in your give away.
Big hugs,
Sam
Besos
I hope that soon everything will be resolved in the best.
Congratulations to Marisa.

The August giveaway dress is a real piece of art. I'll be happy to put your link on my sidebar. I had to laugh at your little grandson throwing back his catch. I am familiar with this situation having two vegetarian grand daughters. One of them is now a qualified veterinarian.

I'm glad to hear that you are back! You are such an inspiration!
Pains are very hard to deal with, I had a terrible pain before, but I stopped taking all my medications and I have never felt better. Sometimes you got to trust your gut, and not the doctors words, but, I don't recommend all people to go against the doctors, it can be fatal, but in my case it was just what I needed, a bit of trust in my self and in God instead of always listen to others.
Wishing you good health in the future!
Hannah
Dear Felma,
I read the new news and I hope that you go always in the best health. your clothes are splendor and willingly participate to your giveaway.

People everyday walk through the valley of the shadow of death not knowing WHOSE WINGS are protecting them. I feel so much better knowing about those who witness and share the POWER of HIS deliverance. I especially thank GOD for an aunt who has shared her joy with so many. This year I have been focusing on power. Acts 1:8 is the beginning for me. But the scripture that incourages me, I want to share with your readers. 2 Timothy 1:7 says " For GOD hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." MAY GOD BLESS US ALL. Love you, Roderick.
I'm so glad to read that you are enjoying what you do most, creating beautiful miniatures. Trust me when we need out Heavenly father is there with open arms ready to fight the good fight for us. That is a great picture of you too! Tour grandson looks just like you too!

Good news, dear Felma! I really hope you will be feeling better day by day, you deserve it!
This is a gorgeous dress.........as usual all your dresses are beautiful, they are made with so much love!
Take care. Hugs, Ilona
I stumbled upon your blog, I read what you wrote and I say that you are a strong woman and wise. Faith is the greatest help that God has given us. Faith is the faith that He is our Father, do not abandon us. You knocks on his door, knocks so much because He listens and opens the door to us that we always need help. Just believe can do it.
I also tell you that your thumbnails are very beautiful, very elegant and attentive to detail. Blogs that often arise during difficult times in our lives make us discover many wonderful people. Nellina

Having God in our lives is a wonderful, good thing. He knows best and keeps you on the right track. Cancer runs in our lines as well as the other autoimmune diseases. My battle with food allergy's and environmental allergy's most often keep me down in the bed sleeping. Pills and shots do not help me much. However I have never had any aches and pains with anything. I guess because I eat gluten free. But when I get contaminated, then a small headache comes within 15 minutes. (If you decide to get an allergy test done go to the allergist for it. Do not get a blood test). Sometimes God sends messages to us by someone else's words. The answer can be right under our noses. You are a lovely kind lady who loves to give. I also love to give and I am close to your age. Take care of yourself. Many hugs and kisses,
Conny
