WOW! So Many Mini Things Have Changed!

Christmas Is In The Air Already!
Hello Dear Bloggers.  Missing in action, again!  Will I stay this time?  I have a desire to give away a Christmas gift to one of my followers which I am working on now.  A dressed mannequin?  Yes.  Something else too?  Probably.

Too late for an October Give Away, but November looks promising for a cute giveaway.  I've been busy working on stuff for eBay and writing my book and now ready to start blogging again, although looks like a lot of Bloggers in Blog Land left and went someplace else.  Facebook, Twitter, Instagram?  So many mini things have changed since I've been gone.  Looking forward to being a part of your mini life again.

Thanks to all followers that kept in touch with me during my time away.  Thanks to those of you who didn't leave.  Hope your stay will be worth your time!!! Let's have some more fun together and keep those give-a-ways going all over the world! I love seeing what you are working on and sharing my work with you.

Hugs and Kisses,

P.S. Dress in picture was a previous give-a-way.  Please keep checking for November and December give-a-ways.  Must be a follower to have a chance to win.

Lovely Wedding Gown For February 2018
Hello to my dear friends!  I know you are probably tired of seeing red.
Thanks to all of you for your patience.  It is pretty rough for me to get my pictures from camera to Blog.  Getting better thanks to my grandsons.  Plus, I want all of my pictures to be perfect for you and you know what it means to be perfect. It's more like I can never finish a project!
Wedding Gown including Headpiece is fitted onto a 5 inch tall porcelain mannequin and should not be removed and worn by doll. Looks great in Bridal Shop or as stand alone in a gift box for bride.  Endless possibilities for adults and children over 12 years.  Lots of tiny shiny faux diamonds that may end up in tiny hands.
I added lots of bling because the Bride wanted me to.  And she didn't want tulle added under her dress, over her dress or to her headpiece, therefore, I constructed a gorgeous headpiece using trim to match dress.  Fabulous!  She insisted that I put three pearls popping out of top for all to see representing: Father, Son and Holy Spirit!  She loved the look and so did I.

For a chance to win:  Be a follower of my Blog and leave an encouraging comment on this Post only by Wednesday, February 28, 2018, PST 11:00PM
Your comment will be put in the lucky hat and drawn by one of my two grandsons.  I will announce the lucky winner on a Blog Post when Give Away is claimed.  Thank you for entering to win.  I love comments.

Winner For December!

Ready to ship
Below is dialogue between Gail, the winner and me. And this is one of the reasons I love to blog.
We were attending a class at the NAME Conventio and the Instructor was telling us how to get real  bones. Her cat would bring dead rats and simply drop them on her door step and she would clean and boil, then confiscate the bones. Perfect for scale. I think were making an Adobe.
At that point I really didn't care about how to make an Adobe look real. I wanted to get out! But every time I glanced back at the door for an easy escape, Gail and her Mom were looking at me laughing. I felt so embarrassed and scared because I was sitting at the front of classroom.
After class Gail told me her father had passed away and had beautiful things in his tackle box. She said she could share with me.  The rest is history! Therefore, the mink lives on!  Animal rights people please understand that I am not killing anything and I feel good that the fur is used in a beautiful way. Mostly faux fur is used unless I state otherwise.

I love your Grandson! Mostly because he picked ME!!!

Yes, it is I, Gail from Ohio.
We met at the Anaheim NAME Convention, oh so long ago.

I am so glad you are still squeezing in some time to make dresses.

I'm sorry things have been so challenging for you. You are strong, and I am sure you will persevere as long as you have things you want to get done.

At Anaheim you also met my mom. She passed several years ago, but she, too, would be thrilled you were still creating.
Can't wait to see the dress in person!

Thank you,

Gail this cannot be you! I am so amazed that this happened. Sorry to hear about your Mom.

We were in the rat class together and I thought it was so gross and you sent me some of your Dad's fishing fur stuff. I still have some of it. Savoring it. This is so unreal. It is 3 am here and I am still wide awake. This is really a blessing for me to "see" you again. Thank you for letting me know it's you! I don't even know how I ended up here at this site.

Congratulations on your win. I can't wait to tell my friend Joyce Bernard, The Trunk Lady.

Hope you are keeping warm and cozy. Let's talk after you get your dress. I can't wait to get it in the mail. I just may have to mention this on my next post.

    Thank you,
For all of you that didn't win just hang in there and keep the comments coming and one day your name may be pulled from the lucky hat. The next give away will be coming soon.
Thanks for all your comments. I really appreciate all comments. Gail said she received her "treasure" on Friday and it is so beautiful.
    Hugs, love and prayer from

Winner December 2017

Thanks to all of you who have been so great and stayed with my Blog. Thank you to new followers. I will be offering another give away  soon.
After 17 years of being cancer free, it decided to return. I am looking forward to making dresses and spending the rest of my life creating minis and serving my Creator. "You swim harder when you swim against the current." FelmaJ

When my grandson picked the following comment from the lucky hat, all I could do was cry. He wanted to know why I was crying. I told him they were happy tears because I needed to read something as inspirational as the comment he picked. If the inspirational comment is yours please contact me with your mailing information. I love comments.

This too shall pass.
The events that cause us the most anxiety, stress, fear, and sorrow, in the end, will make us stronger.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
I'm happy to see you are still creating miniatures, I've always found them to be very therapeutic.

Congratulations To The Winner!

Set of luggage I made. Inspired by grandson.
These long gaps between my postings are driving me nuts!
Every time I post I say I am going to post again real soon and I just seem to get so caught up in so much stuff time has already passed before I know it. Please hang in here with me to see if I will do better as my life gains some structure back.

My dear friends most of you know that I had part of my brain removed in November, although just a small piece according to my very handsome doctor. My miniatures are still my favorite hobby, but finishing my book is also time consuming.. And my favorite daughter is taking me on a short cruise this month. WOW! That sounds fantastic.
I know I said I would post after the winner contacts me but I need the winner to identify that the following comment is hers/his and contact me with mailing information.

The following comment was very beautiful and I did my best to translate
to English:

"Cuenta conmigo para participar en tu celebración de la vida.
Juntas oremos para que tu recuperación sea completa.
Y me encantaría probar suerte en el sorteo de esa maravilla de vestido que antes era precioso y con los cambios aún lo es más".

"Count with me to participate in your celebration of her life.
Together pray that your recovery is complete.
And I would love to try their luck in the draw of this wonder of dress that was once beautiful and with the changes still is more."

Once again I enjoyed this draw and will do my very best to give away something else soon because I have a lot I want share with you as I get ready to move on to my next Chapter in life.

Thank you so much for being my friends and participating in my Give Aways!

Prayers, Hugs and Love,

Free Dress And Purse To A Lucky Winner!

Dress and Purse Give Away
Hello again!  Blogging is wonderful for me because I can be in touch with family and friends all over the world.

Last night I had this great idea and followed through with it.  I added some more features to the unclaimed November dress give away such as necklace, trim and purse. And now I will name them the February Give Away.  It really boggles my mind about be strong and never give up because it works so easily!

Please enter to win by leaving a motivating comment on this Post only  and be a follower of this Blog before the closing date on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 6:pm PST.  Your comment will be put in a lucky hat and one winner will be drawn by one of my grandsons. Winner will be posted when prize is claimed. Thank you much and Good Luck!

Yes, I still love motivating comments that thrill me as I grow stronger during my Celebration of Life Journey. I love making dresses and giving them away. And yes, I miss him.  I can almost hear his very lovely deep voice say, "That's the best looking dress you've ever made." Although this is a beautiful dress, he made that statement about every dress I made.  I am really Laughing Out Loud now.  I should've recorded that statement.

Just before I began posting tonight, this is what I read by accident and it encourages me and maybe you, to:

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6 (NIV)

Turn To God And Be Strong! Really?

Hello my friends. I don't know what happened to the winner of the last dress. I was never contacted.  What shall I do?

I have been away from my blog having brain surgery to patch a hole on my creative side.  Oh Oh!  Everyone encourages me, "Turn to God and stay strong! Anyone know what that means? As I wait for my brain to heal I am stressed to have a lung biopsy to rule out cancer. I've been cancer free for 17 years. What is going on! Stay strong!

Now, the problems started after my husband passed away. Is he trying to get me to come where he is? We loved one another so much.  Sometimes I really want to go  to him, but I also want to see my grandsons grow up to be good citizens. First, my ear drum burst! Then a really bad car accident where another driver lost control of his car and blasted my car. Therapy TAKES forever.

But, really? Sometimes I do question my efforts to be strong. Some days I feel like life is turning against me on this Celebration of Life Journey.

So, I am trying to be strong and continue on my Journey.  Saturday I went to the Southern California Tom Bishop Show!  Had a great time.  Miniatures are the very best hobby. There were so many gorgeous miniatures on display. I came home and made a dress. And I would like for you to compare my dress after surgery to the one above before surgery. I will post it soon.

Hope all of you are having a happy New Year!  May all your resolutions be filled.

My health and death issues only mean that anything is possible  and hopefully my Journey will encourage other to be strong. Through all my pain and the everyday challenges of life I am still looking forward to what tomorrow has in store for me and for you.

Thanks for being my mini friends. Don't forget to tell me what to do with the last give away dress that wasn't claimed. Does anyone want the dress? Please leave a comment on this post and I will pull names again. I added a few things to the dress and it looks more beautiful than before.

Hugs to all of you! Stay strong! Make some minis!
